The instructions were a nightmare but I finally got it together by ignoring them. It's a great fit on the back of Big Duck.
Instead of the plastic brackets that screw to the deck/rail, I used stainless fittings from marinepartdepot.com. These allow placement of the pivot bracket anywhere along the rail without drilling holes as well as allowing the bimini to easily be repositioned for whatever reason.
Totally out of the way when not in use!
We are so happy to see the Big Duck found a wonderful home. I fell in love with my husband on that boat years ago. It was a friend's boat, and we spent 13 weekends of 2008 enjoying her and getting her running. We met many wonderful people and have many wonderful memories of the Big Duck. So much so, my husband and I both got a bit teary eyed when we stumbled onto your blog. We are happy to see she is being enjoyed as she was intended.
