Garbage Bags On The Boat

I've got a kitchen sized trash container on the boat. It's kept in the shower where it's normally out of the way. The replacement plastic bags are in the galley pantry - 8 or 10 steps away behind a closed cabinet. We do have a nice repository for full bags in the engine compartment - there's a big empty space next to the motor that will hold 7-8 full plastic bags...we're easily good for a week without 'taking out the garbage'.

I don't mind tying the full bag and dragging it out of the shower stall, but it's a pain to find the spare bags behind the cabinet door and wrestle one out of the container, then get things settled so I can get the cabinet closed again. Here's my solution:

Place several empty bags in the bottom of the trash container. When you pull the full one out, there's an empty one staring you in the face so you don't have to fight one out of the cabinet!
