Battery Charger - Wiring

I put my charger in the lower cabinet (top shelf) on the stbd side of
the aft entry...green light.

The charger plugs into an outlet on the shelf below - that fixture has a
duplex outlet and 3 switches. One switch for the engine room lights -
one switch for the engine room recepticals and one switch for
controlling power to the upper receptacle of the duplex so we won't have
to unplug the charger if we don't want to run it.

You can see my main battery switch inside the step to the right with the
top step hinged up. The charger wires connect to the back of the main
battery switch, although with the combiner, the two bank wires can be
combined to one terminal.

Also in the pic on the bulkhead is the propane detector, a switch and
indicator light for the washdown pump, the Yandina battery combiner and
an indicator light to show me the macerator circuit is active - the
macerator is ultimately activated by a windup timer in the engine room
but there is a toggle next to the main battery switch that needs to be
on first and that turns on the light.

I wanted to be able to see all these indicator lights without having to
remove cushions and locker lids. The green light on the charger tells me
it's plugged in and the batteries are topped up. There's a red light
next to the green one that comes on when the charger is producing a
charge.

BTW, Big Duck was dry during our recent camping trip, even in pounding
rain on the road and at the campsite.
